Job Description
St. Ambrose University is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant for the Vice President of University Advancement. Primary responsibilities include assistant duties for the Vice President; working closely with the President’s Office in scheduling and recording of travel and events; recording and maintaining minutes for committees and/or Advisory Council meetings; monitoring and reconciling budgets along with coordinating the payment of invoices; book travel arrangements through the web; editing and updating Colleague database and pulling of reports from Informer; use of various university portal and web sites; point person in ordering office supplies and handling of other facility needs.  This position requires a self-starter, team player, highly organized, demonstrates initiative with attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and databases (Ellucian database experience preferred). The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years’ experience in relevant or related profession. People from under-represented populations are encouraged to apply.
