Bilingual Universal Member Service Representative
 
At IHMVCU, we pride in making the financial journey of our members successful and humbling. In the Universal position, you will have ample opportunities to help build member relationships and guide them to their financial accomplishments. We are able to assist and educate our members within 17 branches in and around the Quad City communities.   
 
As a Universal Member Service Rep, you will have the ability to process transactions, open new accounts, originate, close and document consumer loans with accuracy, efficiency and exceptional member service. You will also have the opportunity to educate members with well thought out financial solutions to meet individual goals and needs of each member.
 
What skills/qualifications would it take to be successful in this position?
  • Two year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Exceptional customer/member service and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills
  • Ability to learn and retain information
  • Reliable, motivated and strong organizational skills
  • Professional Bi-lingual skills in Spanish and English

Physical Requirements:
  • StandingRemaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.

  • Lifting Demands- Up to 10 lbs.
  • Visual acuity to do things such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes
