The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bonding Education Program (BEP) is a free program tailored to small minority, woman and veteran owned businesses competing for construction-related contracts. This program consists of a comprehensive set of sessions designed to address the needs of the small business community in order to become bond-ready, along with a one-on-one session with surety bonding professionals. In addition to learning about bonding, attendees will learn about: • Business Plans • Project Management • Marketing • Dispute Resolution • Construction Accounting • Banking Relationships • Estimating • Contract Negotiation • Bidding • Short Term Lending Programs Date: October 24 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. October 25 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. October 26, 2016 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Location: Scott County Extension Building 875 Tanglefoot Lane Bettendorf, Iowa |
