·         The Multicultural Entrepreneurial Center (MEC) at Black Hawk College in partnership with Immigrant Entrepreneurs Summit will be hosting a day-long Summit in the Quad Cities. 
·         You can expect connections with other immigrants, BIPOC business owners, and those in the community who want to engage and support entrepreneurship.
1) Celebration – IES recognizes the work of incredible immigrant entrepreneurs. It emphasizes the impact of immigrants in the community and gives role models of success from their stories 
2) Connection – IES helps to bring down the barriers to give opportunities for people of different backgrounds to meet, get to know each other’s business and services, and start building a relationship through exhibitor booths and networking opportunities.
3) Education – Provide workshops with a variety of different business topics, from how to start a business, compliance, taxes, marketing and more. We anticipate 9-12 workshops to be held.
