¡Construye Tu Puesto! Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a Mini Mercado Craft

Join us for a fun, hands-on celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month! We'll start with a short, engaging presentation on the history of Mexican mercados and small business culture — exploring how markets have brought communities together for generations and what it takes to run your very own puesto (market stall).

Then, with the help of volunteers from a local Latino college student organization, you will design and build your own miniature shoebox market stall — choosing a business like a fruit stand, bakery, taco stand, or flower shop, and decorating it to make it their own!
