The beauty of the garden as an enduring theme in art is the subject of a Fridays at Deere-Wiman presentation. Art historian Carol Ehlers, Davenport, will speak on ?Gardens in Art: French Impressionism.? A volunteer with the Senior Art Insight program at the Art Institute of Chicago, Ehlers will use images from the institute?s collection in her presentation.
