LIDERAMOS Quad Cities Leadership Development Program Cohort 3
The Quad Cities Regional LIDERAMOS Leadership Program Mission, Objective, & Purpose:
To enhance and develop the skills of Latinos who are culturally aware, civically engaged, and community-serving, so they can provide effective leadership and impact in our community and multicultural society. Highly Interactive leadership exchange among intergenerational, multi-sector, emerging, mid-career, and senior leaders who will share life-experiences and acquire new knowledge and practices. We borrow elements from the leadership development curriculum of our partner, the National Leadership Alliance, and we utilize its resources and network of other leadership programs.
The Five Components or categories of essential learning in the Lideramos leadership program model are:
1. Self-Development and Awareness 2. Mainstream Leadership 3. Latino History, Culture and Leadership Practices 4. Public Policy, Civic Engagement and Social Change 5. Skill Development: Networking, Team Building and influence Strategies.
Our highly interactive, supportive, and holistic approach will also include public communication, emotional intelligence, mindset, mindfulness, self-management, change, resilience, equity, diversity, and inclusion, and much more.
LIDERAMOS QC Region Program Cohort 3 Applicants:
We will gather applications through June 30, 2025 (or until the cohort is full) and we will inform everyone about the status of their application.
Applicants should review the attached LIDERAMOS QC Region Program Sessions document and look at the dates for the sessions to make sure that they can attend, if selected.
We suggest that they complete the essay questions separately in advance and then paste them into the application survey form (see the attached “APPLICATION - For Lideramos Cohort 3 - Essay Questions”). See the website and application links below.
Just the facts
• Quad Cities Latino Leadership Development Program for Latinos at various stages of their career and leadership development
• Hosted by LULAC Council 10 in partnership with the LIDERAMOS National Latino Leadership Alliance
• Open to adults ages 24 (as of December 2025) and older from all sectors in the Greater Quad Cities Region and surrounding area who identify as Hispanic, Latino/a, Latine, or Latinx, etc.
(Our Cohort 2 leaders ranged from mid-20’s to 60’s and some were from further areas, such as, Orion, IL)
• 25 spots available for our third cohort

• Applications due June 30, 2025, or until the cohort is full
• Program runs monthly, from September 2025 to February 2026, with a 3.5 hr. dinner & session on one Tuesday evening each month.
• Each participant’s $1000 program fee covers the program materials, facilitation, consultation, administration, events, and meals. Sliding scale fee for partial or full scholarships is available. (No one will be turned away for financial reasons)
Full or partial organizational sponsorship is welcomed, so all information should be shared with your organization in advance, for planning and budget purposes.
• Once accepted, applicant’s fee contribution or their organization’s sponsorship fee, if any, can be paid in partial payments or in full, before or during the program timeframe of September 2025-February 2026.
• Cohort 2 funding was provided by the Quad Cities Community Foundation.
