Lights for Liberty QC: Rally/Vigil to End Human Detention Camps

On Friday July 12th, 2019, Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Detention Camps, will bring thousands of people to locations worldwide--as well as to detention camps across country--into the streets and into their own front yards, to protest the inhumane conditions faced by refugees.

A Quad City Vigil will occur
Friday, July 12th
7 - 9 p.m.
Mercado on Fifth (Fifth Avenue and 12th Street in Moline)

We will have speakers, music, plans of action to help us end human detention camps. Stand with your community and show the world that we care.

Bring: signs and candles for the vigil.

We will also be accepting donations of diapers, sanitary products, hygiene products, toothbrushes and paste, etc. If we cannot get them to the detention centers, we will deliver them to families affected by the Mount Pleasant, IA raid.

Mercado on Fifth starts a 5 p.m. Come early and enjoy the food and craft vendors.
