Multicultural Speaker Series Featuring Peggy Stover
Our aim for this series is to provide an opportunity for individuals and organizations to engage diverse residents and employees from multiple sectors in the Quad Cities region, broaden their networks, and enhance their awareness of diversity issues.
Peggy Stover is a leading Latina who is fluent in Spanish and as a Latina woman dedicates her time to advocate DEI programs and mentor young professionals to succeed in the workplace.
She has 23 years of CPG experience and background in brand management, sales, market research, new product innovation, and marketing analytics at Fortune 500 companies that include Kellogg’s, Kraft Foods, SC Johnson Wax and Coors Brewing. Peggy also served as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Dubuque.
For this Multicultural speaker series, Stover will provide valuable marketing solutions for your business or nonprofit that will help enhance your customer/client reach. She will go into more depth on collecting customer data to keep clients engaged (what to collect & how to use it). Your business survival is critical. Peggy Stover is a veteran of the CPG (consumer-packaged goods) industry, Peggy brings a wealth of corporate experience to the University of Iowa, Department of Marketing as an Associate Professor of Practice and Director of the Marketing Institute.
Peggy has an MPS from the University of Denver. She also has a BBA with majors in Finance & Marketing from St. Mary’s University. Peggy has authored and published numerous articles and industry white research papers on consumer and industry trends on a variety of topics. In 2008 she was awarded Progressive Grocer Magazine “2008 Rising Star” for her achievements in the CPG industry. In 2009 she was awarded a US Design Patent with Anchor Hocking and Soy Basics.
