Multicultural Speaker Series Featuring Stacia Carroll
Our aim for this series is to provide an opportunity for individuals and organizations to engage diverse residents and employees from multiple sectors in the Quad Cities region, broaden their networks, and enhance their awareness of diversity issues.
For this Multicultural speaker series, Stacia will discuss Thrive: Leverage Resilience to Optimize Well-Being and Flourish at Home & Work. About Stacia Carroll:
Stacia Carroll, MS CES MES Benefits & Wellness Specialist Genesis Health System
Stacia has 28 years working as a fitness and wellness professional in community & health care settings. As Benefits & Wellness Specialist for Genesis Health System, Stacia designs & implements well-being initiatives to address the comprehensive needs of the nearly 5,000 member Genesis workforce. Stacia is passionate about educating individuals on ways in which consistent wellness practices & behaviors can positively impact health & reduce risk of illness and disease. Stacia strives to teach individuals simple solutions for wellness that can significantly improve quality of life & overall well-being.
Stacia received her Bachelor's & Master's degrees in Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation from Western Illinois University. She holds numerous fitness & wellness certifications with specialty certifications as a Cancer Exercise Specialist (RMCRI) & Medical Exercise Specialist (ACE).
Stacia uses her knowledge, inspiration & influence to help individuals overcome barriers & develop confidence in using wellness behaviors to achieve optimal health.
Stacia enjoys being physically active, spending time with family & friends and learning. Stacia and her husband Tim have enjoyed 27 years of marriage & are the proud parents of Lauren (25), Carter (20) and Gavin (18).
