Problem-Solving Techniques
In this program, participants develop their ability to recognize and solve problems in a lean business environment using a proven approach. The program teaches participants how to use several widely-accepted problem-solving tools such as: A3's, 5 Why's, Ishakawa cause and effect diagrams, flowcharting, Pareto diagrams, run charts, and force field analysis. The case study used in class reinforces how to apply the tools in a real world setting.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe the steps of the problem-solving model.
- Describe and use various tools for collecting data/information.
- Conduct a root cause analysis that arrives at a corrective action plan.
