SBA Community Navigators Program: Connecting Iowa’s Underserved Markets to Small Business Resources
Lutheran Services of Iowa (LSI) is partnering with International Rescue Committee (IRC) to bring the Community Navigator Pilot Program, powered by the SBA, to Iowa. In conjunction with the Iowa Center for Economic Success, Siouxland Economic Development Corp (SEDC)/Iowa West Coast Initiative, Drake Business Accelerator Program and the Immigrant Entrepreneur’s Summit, this program is aimed at assisting minority small business owners and entrepreneurs, especially immigrant and refugee populations, to start, strengthen and grow their businesses. Navigators with each partner organization are here to help participants navigate existing business resources and funding opportunities and provide culturally and linguistically appropriate coaching. Through this program and the IRC’s Center for Economic Opportunity, LSI is able to offer a variety of business loans with no minimum credit score, no prepayment penalties and no strict collateral requirements. For a limited time, we can offer loans up to $10,000 at 0% interest to existing businesses or start ups. Join us for this webinar to learn how to qualify and how to get more information on Community Navigator services.
