Speaker Series featuring Jasmine Bozeman

Our aim for this series is to provide an opportunity for individuals and organizations to engage diverse residents and employees from multiple sectors in the Quad Cities region, broaden their networks, and enhance their awareness of diversity issues.

About Jasmine
Jasmine Bozeman serves as the Executive Assistant of a local non-profit organization. She is also a motivational speaker, author, and Founder & CEO of The Degree Experience, LLC - a college coaching and education advocacy agency. Jasmine's high energy and passion has led her to present at conferences, lead support groups, mentor elementary, middle, & high school students, serve as a banquet keynote, emcee & host area events, and volunteer hundreds of hours in her community. She is equipped with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, multiple spiritual training certificates, and over 10 years of client-centered care. Jasmine understands how to identify areas of great need, in order to deliver tailored inspiration and practical service.
 
Jasmine is the published author of "The Degree Experience: If We Can College, SO CAN YOU!"  An introductory resource guide for high school students who need encouragement, it uses 15 different mini sections to answer the question "Why should I go to college?" Although suitable for all 9th -12th graders, this workbook is especially helpful for those needing positive examples on overcoming barriers that may otherwise prevent them from pursuing higher education.
