The Arc Announces: Slice of the QC
 
(Rock Island, Ill.) The Arc is announcing Slice of the QC an event that brings people together over beer, pizza, and a great cause. The Quad Cities is known for its pizza, for many it’s a slice of hometown pride. Slice of the QC celebrates the local businesses that make up the local roots and flavors of the Quad Cities while raising important funds for people with disabilities.
 
Slice of the QC kicks off National Pizza Month on Friday, October 7st from 5-8 p.m. at Crawford Brew Works in Bettendorf, IA. For $15 entry you will be in for party slices from six participating pizza restaurants from around the Quad Cities: Happy Joes, Quad City Pizza Co., Pizza & Subs, Pagalo’s Pizzeria, Antonella’s Pizzeria II, and Mio Russo. Voting will began Oct 1st and will run thru Oct 7th.    
 
Anyone can vote. Vote for your favorite Slice of the QC through text.

When you vote you will get a link to donate. There are benefits for donating to The Arc. By making a donation to The Arc, you will be entered into a drawing for FREE pizza for participating. All proceeds will benefit The Arc of the Quad Cities Area which provides services that improve the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
