Call Center Agent

IHMVCU is seeking an engaging Bilingual Call Center Agent to join the team at our Headquarters Office in Moline, IL.

 

What does a Call Center Agent do?
  • Build deep, long term relationships to help our members along their financial journey.
  • In a high energy, empowered atmosphere we provide exceptional service through phone, email and chat functions.
  • Each day the goal is to listen, understand and take quick action to exceed the member's expectations.
  • Hours of Call Center operation are 7am-7pm Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturdays 8am-1pm.
  • Anticipated start date of the position is April 15th
The successful candidate will need the following skills/qualifications:
  • Exceptional customer service experience.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications.
  • Educate members on financial tools; accurately and efficiently apply policies and procedures.
  • Reliable and Motivated to help others.
  • Professional Bi-lingual skills in Spanish and English.

Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting: Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
  • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.

  • Finger, handle, touch: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling. Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm. Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
  • Lifting Demands: Up to 10 lbs.
  • Visual Demands: Visual acuity to do things such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
